ChatGPT Remote MCP Integration

These instructions walk you through the steps to use the S&P Global LLM-Ready API on ChatGPT's Apps (opens in a new tab).

Apps are currently limited to Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Education accounts.

Setup

Step 1: Find the S&P Global App on ChatGPT Apps

To access S&P Global data through ChatGPT, click the link to navigate to the S&P Global App homepage (opens in a new tab), or navigate to ChatGPT's Apps tab (opens in a new tab) and search for "S&P Global".

Step 2: Connect to the S&P Global App

Click the "Connect" button and "Continue" button, which will navigate you to an Okta browser login flow.

Step 3: Log in with Kensho Okta credentials

Log in with your Kensho Okta credentials, sent via email when you sign up for an LLM-ready API trial or account. If you do not already have access to the the Kensho LLM-ready API, contact market.intelligence@spglobal.com to arrange a trial. Completing the Okta sign-in will redirect you back to ChatGPT.

Step 4: Start a chat using the S&P Global App

You have successfully logged in and connected to the App.

Click the "Start Chat" button and try it out with a query, for example SPGI revenue 2024. Ensure the App is active by checking that it shows in the bottom left corner of the chatbox.
